Lucky has sired some beautifully conformed kids for us and is only being made available because we own his full brother as well. His pedigree is packed with high LA scores, Elite, and Top Ten does. His dam is a consistent milker that is sharp and dairy with great teat placement, a wide rear udder arch, and a ton of capacity. As a 2 yr old she scored a V in mammary and dairyness. She also earned all three milk stars in her first yearling lactation and was ranked in the 92nd percentile that year. For her 2nd lactation she easily stayed in milk for 400 days making about 1000 lbs. Though she was still producing 2lbs a day she was dried up to keep our milking string at 10. Lucky’s sire, Cedar View Heath *B, has made a huge impact on our herd and we owe much of our success to him, both in the show ring and filling the milk pail. Heath’s dam is a Top Ten doe that has never milked less than 1000 lbs in a lactation, recently putting up 2 1500+ lb lactations.
